• I like to believe that you only get out what you put in. I meet you where you are at and build off of that to help transform your mindset and mold you into the version of yourself you are seeking to be, and I like to think that both you as the individual and me as the coach are the change agents, which refers to the ones who facilitate and drive transformation in mindset, behavior, and performance. I can give you the tools and coach you every step of the way, but it’s on you to put in the effort every single day, no matter if it’s small steps or big steps. The only way you come out on top is if you show up every day energized, motivated, patient, optimistic, willing, engaged, and resilient, which is my acronym for EMpower, that’s what I believe what it’s going to take to EMpower you. I understand that not every day is going to be easy, but having each one of those traits that I just listed out in that acronym, is going to make the process a lot more empowering for you. Whatever gains you hope to acquire is ultimately up to you; you can gain anything you put your mind to. Bottom line up front, you will gain more than you ever believed was possible if you accept that your mind holds all the power and you commit to staying open through the process!

  • Training durations are dependent on individual needs. If we are talking 1:1 work, based on the first consultation, we will be able to get a gauge for how many sessions we are looking at prospectively. For 1:1 sessions, each session is capped at 1 hour. I can do a session by session approach, which is more flexible, and allows you to decide for yourself after each session if you want to proceed with my services and utilizing me as your mental performance coach. If you are committed to my services from the get go, I encourage you to book multiple sessions, as I will be offering a bundle session package which would be the better bang for your buck. The more you commit to my services, the more access you will have for offline support as well. What I mean by this is, as long as you have me booked as your coach, I am available for check ins via text, phone call or email, for any additional support outside of our sessions, which would be included in the price you pay up front. What it boils down to as far as how long trainings last, is dependent on each individual’s needs and how committed they are to my services and what I have to offer. All other trainings, I don’t currently have a capped duration per session, but typically those last for 1-2 hours, dependent on the training subject. My services will always be available to you. You don’t have to commit to everything at once, I am here whenever your schedule allows, and will do my best to work with you and your needs.

  • Improving your daily life is contingent on your commitment to applying the psychological principles and techniques you are coached up on along the way. Together we will build a mental toolkit that you will be able to “carry around” with you every single day and pull out the tools at any time you see fit. When that toolkit becomes part of your daily life, you will start seeing significant improvements IN your daily life. Depending on what you are wanting to focus on and enhance, will determine how it affects your daily life. For anyone who commits to mental performance coaching can guarantee a shift in your overall well-being. As a student getting educated on mental performance principles, I saw a change in my well-being when I started applying the principles to my everyday life. Seeing and feeling it for yourself urges you to spread the word to those around you and be a walking example of how powerful the world of mental performance is. I want everyone to experience this field and what it can do for you personally, not just in your everyday life, but also in your professional working life, and the relationships you have with others. Maybe you are already satisfied with your life, and that’s great, but I truly believe that once you are exposed to the world of sport psychology and all it has to offer you, you will start seeing changes in your life you never knew possible! Stick with me, to experience it all for yourself!

  • I want to first start by saying, as a multi-sport athlete growing up, when I came into the field of sport psychology, I was locked in to the idea that the field was only applicable to the sport domain, but quickly did I realize that this field applies to all kinds of domains, as mental performance can benefit anyone. My first job out of grad school was as a contractor for the military, and I never would have guessed that I would be working with military personnel, you know, I always was very tunnel vision with just working with sports in this field, especially as someone that comes from that background, but working with the military really opened my eyes to how much this field can apply to anyone, especially the military. After leaving that job, I wanted to branch out and broaden my horizons and start working with more domains. Yes, I want to do a lot of my work in the sports domain, but am very motivated to working with other domains too. I foresee myself focusing on sports for sure, as well as corporate professionals, healthcare professionals, first responders, and even church communities as I will be offering spiritual approaches to my work, really passionate about going that route too. First responders in particular really excites me too because I grew up with my dad as a state police and understand the demands in that field of work, and being the mental performance coach I am now, it urges me to work with police officers and other first responders because I truly believe a lot of positive shifts can be made when it comes to the mindset of those personnel and how they approach the job every day. I am happy to be in a position to open the door to anyone and everyone that sees mental performance to be valuable to them!

  • I would like to work with corporate professionals, and since I don’t have any previous experience in that environment yet, it’s hard to say what that is going to look and feel like; however, I have had experience working in front of high ranked military personnel, which I would like to believe would have similarities, like working in high pressure environments, having leadership roles, monitoring team dynamics, and also just overall performance optimization. I would approach corporate sessions just like I approach all other clients, making sure I meet their needs. I could see corporate professionals seeking sessions that focus on things like stress management, definitely goal-setting, maybe some cognitive behavioral techniques such as positive self-talk and looking at how to reframe negative thoughts. There are so many avenues I could take when working with corporate professionals, but again, it all comes down to what their needs are, and curating a training or even a workshop that will be effective for their particular situation.

  • I really think joining these two worlds could be really profound. For those that have followed my motivational/devotional videos the past 2 years understand how these two worlds intersect, and I would love to bring that into my work as a mental performance coach for those that would be interested in leveraging their faith/spirituality and relationship with God. I truly believe that God is our most powerful tool, and adding Him to our mental toolkit will draw out that strength and resilience you need to conquer anything in life. Without going into too much detail on how these two worlds intersect, I want to point out what I believe to be one of the strongest approaches which is through scripture and affirmations…one of my favorite principles of mental performance is positive self-talk and through positive self-talk you start to boost confidence in yourself, and what better resource is there to boost your self-confidence than through The Word. Having God in your corner to remind you of everything you are and were created to be, will give you that inspiration to stay resilient and encourage you to always strive for the best for yourself. When you can recognize and harness the power of faith in your life, you will start to enhance your mental performance and cultivate a life filled with purpose!
