THE TOOL KIT

*This list is not exhaustive – if you have something else in mind that you do not see listed, please do not hesitate to reach out with a request, and I will do my best to accommodate your needs.

  • goal setting

Having a goal is one thing, but knowing how to achieve that goal is another. The goal-setting process takes time, effort, and planning; you need to paint the picture first before going out and taking action. This technique will help you slow down the process and take the necessary steps toward that goal with a more deliberate approach. Let’s work together to find the best route toward achieving your goal(s).

  • confidence / self-talk

How you see yourself and what you think and say to yourself can have quite the impact on how you perform. It starts with having confidence in yourself and what that inner voice of yours sounds like. You are in control of your thoughts – are you going to let your thoughts self-destruct or self-instruct?

  • energy management

You need to be conscious of your “human battery” and know when to recharge and how to replenish your energy so you can perform at your best. Balancing your energy systems is going to be key to having the appropriate energy levels to perform well. You know yourself best, so let’s tap into where your energy levels need to be in order to perform at the top of your game.

  • Stress management

The word stress often has a negative connotation, but stress isn’t always a bad thing. There’s two different kinds of stress, eustress and distress; however; if you find that your stress gives you an unpleasant feeling (distress), there are techniques at your disposal to bring you to a calmer state. To perform well is too feel stressed in a healthy and positive way.

  • motivation

Losing motivation? Let’s tap into what you can leverage in order to stay motivated and maintain it so that no matter what you come up against you can continue pushing through and perform at the top of your game.

  • imagery

Did you know that your brain doesn’t know the difference between real and imagined stimuli? Imagery is a great tool to have in your back pocket because you can stop to use it any time you need. Imagery is all about putting yourself in the director’s chair and creating scenes in your mind that allow you to envision the way you want to execute a performance. Start putting in those mental reps!

  • the bounce back

As a former athlete myself, I endured a significant injury in my basketball career and did not have a mental performance coach as a resource to help me navigate the journey back to the game. Looking back, I know how valuable a mental performance coach could have been for me. Not only do you need to bounce back physically, but you need to bounce back mentally.

  • purpose / your "why"

Want to unlock your potential and tap into all that you were created to do and be in your lifetime? Let’s discover and capitalize on your “why” and fulfill your purpose.

  • Strengths

Knowing your individual strengths provides a foundation for personal growth. If you aren’t aware of the strengths you possess, then how can you channel them towards positive outcomes for yourself?

  • Performer Mindset

Growth happens outside of your comfort zone. Don’t let a fixed mindset prevent you from reaching your full potential – having a growth mindset will open doors that a fixed mindset doesn’t allow for.

  • Faith & Spirituality x Performance

Are you a firm believer that Jesus is at the center of everything? Let’s take a look at how having Him at the center of it all can make the biggest impact on your everyday performances of life.

  • the self-care workshop

Life can get busy, but we need to remember that if we want to give our best every day, we have to be at our best. It’s okay to be selfish at times if it means that you are prioritizing your self-care. Let’s hone in on how you can implement a self-care plan while still taking care of business on the daily.
